The house is generally to be let for two week periods, preferably from
Thursday to Thursday. I ask tenants to leave by 9.30am and not to arrive
before 4.30pm.

If you would like to rent the house, please check the availability
The booking is confirmed when the deposit (half the rent) is received. The
costs are as follows (payable in sterling):

15 June - 30 September £500.00 a week to include gas and electricity, but
not telephone calls, which are metered.

The rest of the year, £400.00 a week, to include electricity but not the
gas used for central heating (metered) and telephone calls. Reductions for
long lets.

Will you please pay the final half of the rent six weeks before your rental
period starts and include another £100.00 to cover the cost of telephone
calls central heating and any extra cleaning or laundry needed and
possible damage to the property and its contents. The balance will, of
course, be returned to you. The keys and more information will be sent to
you about three weeks before you leave the UK. For friends from abroad,
the keys will be with Adriana Toffolin.

Insurance. The price does not include insurance for your property while it
is in the house. You should be sure to have adequate travel insurance.
The policy should cover the event of your having to cancel and medical
attention. This can be arranged through Casa Mia.

Cancellation by YOU. If you should wish to cancel your booking once it has
been accepted by me, or amended within 42 days of departure, I must receive
written instructions to this effect, when the following charges become
payable by you:

More than 42 days 20%

41-29 days 40%
28-22 days 60%
21-14 days 75%
13-8 days 85%
7 days or less 100%

If I can re-let the house, then I will, of course return your deposit.

Balances are due 6 weeks prior to departure. If this balance is NOT
received within 7 days of the date, cancellation will be assumed by me with
consequent loss of deposit.
